Chronic pain affects one in ten Americans at a staggering cost of $100 Billion annually.
It is estimated that chronic pain accounts for 25% of all sick days taken.
While some chronic pain sufferers are in dire need of medical intervention, many patients experience this disabling condition as a downward spiral; pain causes inactivity, leading to more pain and more inactivity.
This is where the Practiva Health Center offers help, a non-medication driven approach to restoration and reconditioning of chronic pain sufferers.

When engaging with the center staff, a chronic pain patient completes a health assessment, including a medical evaluation and a goal setting exercise.
The Action Plan©, appropriately adjusted, offers a restorative activity program, carefully monitored by an exercise physiologist and other health professionals.
Additional behavior modification, addressing nutritional attitudes, psychological counseling and behavior change are included in the approach.
Using the "Learn It. Own It. Live It." protocols, participants will restore physical strength and endurance, self-confidence and self-ownership of their health, leading to a reduced domination of their chronic pain condition while acquiring tools to combat flare ups.
